A Presentation by University Admission Commission (UAC)

Above presentation was held on 11/3/2015, from 6:30pm to 8:30 pm at Giraween Public School Hall. A significant amount of keen parents & students attended the presentation.  Ms  Donna Munro from UAC elaborated on how the HSC moderation, scaling, ranking & ATAR calculations are performed. 

After the presentation parents and teachers asked various questions related to moderation & scaling. Before the presentation many parents were in limbo whether taking Tamil in HSC is a worthwhile exercise but this presentation would have cleared this impression and encourage more students to sit Tamil in HSC. 

NSWFTS will in future engage with Board of studies & University Admission Commissions to organize more forums to raise the awareness about moderation & scaling.
